Hello Everyone!
I grew up in a little township of Ohio, named Howland, pretty close to Warren. So for those of you who know anything about my hometown, it’s quite small in comparison to Cleveland. Cleveland is a city that is rich in cultural and diverse experiences that are not afforded everywhere. Whether you choose to go to Historical Little Italy or attending the Irish Festival, maybe you want to see a real life Polo Match (yes, complete with horses and crocket mallets) or attend Playhouse Square . Cleveland is an amazing place to live.
This weekend I did something that may seem a bit out of the ordinary for some of you, for others, I’m hoping that it sparks a bit of interest. I attended the Cleveland Orchestra’s performance of “Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony” under the world renowned conductor Franz Welser-Most accompanied by the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus at Severance Hall. The Cleveland Orchestra is in the top four orchestras in the world and has performed in venues in Carnegie Hall, in New York, Vienna, Austria, and has a continuous residency in Miami, Florida. This is certainly an opportunity that does not come around too often, but I hope that a few of you might just want to lend your ears to the sights, sounds, and experiences that Cleveland has to offer.
